PinTok ("we," "our," or "us") is committed to protecting your privacy. This Privacy Policy explains how we collect, use, and safeguard your information when you use our mobile application. PinTok is designed as a personal productivity tool and does not function as a social media platform.

To provide our AI-powered travel services, we collect the following:

• Account Information: Email and profile details (name and selected avatar) stored securely via Supabase.
• User Content: Social media links (Instagram/TikTok) and images/screenshots you upload for analysis.
• Location Data: Geographical coordinates (latitude and longitude) of the places you save, derived from our analysis services.

2. Third-Party Services & Data Processing

We utilize industry-leading partners to transform your links into pins. Your data is shared with these services only for processing purposes:

• Apify: Used to scrape and extract text metadata from the social media links you provide.
• Google Gemini (AI): Used to analyze text and descriptions to identify specific venues and cities.
• Google Places API: Used to retrieve professional photos, addresses, and coordinates for your discovered locations.
• Supabase: Acts as our primary backend provider for authentication and data storage.

3. Data Retention and Deletion

Your data (pins, journeys, and profile settings) is stored as long as your account is active.

Right to Delete: You can delete your entire account and all associated data (including pins and images) at any time through the Settings menu in the app. Once initiated, this process is permanent and your data is removed from our Supabase database.

4. Security

We implement robust security measures provided by Supabase to protect your information. However, no method of transmission over the internet is 100% secure, and we cannot guarantee absolute security.

5. Children's Privacy

PinTok does not knowingly collect data from children under the age of 13.
